School policies
In our school, each student is assigned to a class group based on the appropriate age & level.
Attendance : Attendance at every class is compulsory. The student is expected to attend and participate in scheduled classes. A log of practices must be kept, noting the date and duration of practice and adavus/items practiced. This must be brought to each class.
Each group is taught new skills/dance portions every week, absenteeism may affect the whole group learning process; practice at home is absolutely mandatory!
Make up classes: If absence is foreseen but unavoidable, please call ahead to inform the teacher. If teacher cancels a class ,make up class will be provided. If student misses classes, no guarantee for make up classes. Tuition is not pro-rated if a student misses class; however, he/she is more
than welcome to attend another age/level appropriate class as a make-up.
Attire : We believe proper attire helps each dancer feel confident and most likely to
participate and perform at his or her fullest potential! Proper attire should be worn in all classes. Loose hair (short or long) bothers and distracts the dancer; hair must be pulled back neatly from the face, short hair pinned back, long hair in a ponytail or braid.
Fees & Registration Fees: A non refundable yearly registration fee of $20 per family is due each year. This covers administrative expenses. School collects fees monthly/quarterly, this includes national holidays. Payments will be due on 5th of each month. There are no classes on national holidays.
Fees for private lessons and semi private classes are different from group classes.
.
All parents are requested to wait outside the class . Please do not walk into classrooms. Please be courteous to the other parents and students and do not disturb on-going classes.
